How to Obtain Declaration of Employment and Competency.
Ensure you meet eligibility requirements:
- Enrolled or Registered nurse with current AHPRA/NCNZ Registration
- Current Periop Concepts Member for >6 months (either Premium or Hospital)
- You have completed and received a certificate for The Anaesthetic Assistant Starter Course (all modules and assessments) and Live Series 3 - 13 (Including lessons, PDF summaries and assessments)
- You have chosen an Approved Employee Representative, have informed them they will receive a request for electronic signature and have their email address ready. An AER includes:
- Anaesthetic Clinical Nurse Educator
- Anaesthetic Nursing Unit Manager
- Perianaesthesia Clinical Nurse Consultant
- Nurse Practitioner working within anaesthesia
- You have chosen a FANZCA Anaesthetist who has worked with you for more than 6 months, have informed them that you they will receive a request for electronic signature and have their email address ready.
